Versatile environment
Venues
At Galuska, every detail of the wedding revolves around your story. Our two indoor rooms and the garden terrace offer three different characters: the Grand Cru is spacious and filled with natural light, the Sommelier is intimate and worthy of candlelight, and the garden terrace is an ancient, cozy oasis in the center of Tokaj.

Grand Cru room
Capacity maximum 40 people
Its name is inspired by the most prestigious vineyards of the Tokaj wine region. A naturally lit, spacious area where both seated wedding dinners and standing receptions receive a worthy frame.

Sommelier room
Capacity maximum 30 people
An intimate, warm-lit space where the most beautiful toasts and clinks are born in candlelight. A worthy setting for smaller wedding dinners.

Garden terrace
Maximum capacity 50 people
An ancient, quiet garden in the center of Tokaj, where the foliage of the trees provides shade for the civil ceremony, the toasts, and the long summer wedding dinner.
The above numbers refer to seated dinner arrangements. For standing receptions, the Grand Cru and Sommelier rooms combined can accommodate 100 guests.
The garden terrace provides space for an additional 50 guests, whether for a ceremony or an outdoor standing reception.

Frequently Asked Questions
Below we have gathered the most common wedding questions and answers to ensure that every detail of the organization is transparent and smooth. Our goal is to provide high-quality, attentive service throughout the entire process of your big day, from the request for a quote and venue visit to the menu selection and details of decoration, guest reception, and comfort services. If you do not find an answer to your question here, our colleagues will be happy to assist you.
How much time is available for dismantling after the event?
On the day after the wedding, there is an opportunity for dismantling and transporting the equipment until 11:00 AM.
When can the decorator arrive to dress the venue?
The decorator can start preparing the venue from 9 AM on the morning of the wedding day. If more complex decorations are arriving (larger installations, flower wall-to-ceiling solutions), please let us know in advance so that everyone has enough time for the setup. The exact time will be agreed upon during finalization.
How much is the deposit, and how is the payment schedule structured?
We request the full amount for the venue in advance, via bank transfer, as confirmation of the reservation. The payment for any remaining food and beverage packages after the event will be settled via transfer with an 8-day payment deadline. The detailed financial schedule will be recorded in the individual offer to ensure transparency at every step.
Is it allowed to bring your own spirits, and is there a corkage fee?
Yes, if you do not choose the premium drink package, we are happy to open the bottles you bring with you.
Does the restaurant make the cake, or can we bring our own? Is there a separate fee for this?
Both are possible. If you would like, we can also make a cake: we will plan the flavor, size, and style based on mutual agreement. If you bring it from an external pastry chef, please provide the invoice so that the cake's origin can be verified from a food safety perspective. We will discuss the detailed conditions at the time of the offer.
Is there a children's menu and child discount?
Yes. Guests aged 0-2 are free, and we provide a discount of 50% on the dinner price for those aged 2-12. The discount does not apply to the drink package and the welcome snacks.
Is it possible to hold a civil ceremony in the garden?
Yes. Our garden is located in a wooded environment, providing natural shade for the ceremony. In case of bad weather, we will move the ceremony to our indoor spaces, and we will finalize the script 48 hours in advance.
Is it allowed to smoke in the restaurant area?
Smoking is not allowed in the restaurant, but it is allowed in the garden area.
Is there Wifi in the restaurant?
The wifi network available in the Galuska.
Can dogs be brought into the restaurant?
Is there a high chair and changing table at the Galuschka restaurant?
Both can be found at Galuschka Bistro & Garden.
Is the restaurant accessible?

What can you offer to vegan, vegetarian, or guests with special diets?
We are happy to prepare vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and lactose-free dishes. Please indicate dietary requirements and allergies preferably at the time of contract signing, but no later than 30 days before the wedding, so that the chef has time to carefully plan the dishes. Since our kitchen is not separate, we cannot guarantee 100% exemption (from gluten, lactose, nuts, eggs, or other allergens), but in every case, we will find a solution together that allows every guest to feel at home at the table.
Where can I park?
Parking is free on the street next to the restaurant and in the surrounding streets.
